1 ǃNani tsēdi khaoǃgâb ge Jesuba Petrub tsî khoeǃgâgukha, Jakobub tsî Johaneb tsîkha ū tsî ǀguri gu nî hâse ǃhommi ai ge ǃapa. 2 ǁÎgu ra kō bi hîab ge Jesub ai-īsiba ge ǀkharaǀkharasen. ǁÎb ais ge sores khami gere ǂkhai tsî sarab âb ge ǃnâb khami ge ǃuri i. 3 ǁNātimîsi kha ge Moseb tsî Eliab tsîkha ǂhai tsî Jesub ǀkha ge ǃhoatsoatsoa. 4 Ob ge Petruba Jesub ǃoa ge mî: “ǃKhūtse, mâtikōse i kha nî ǃgâi, sage nēpa hâsa! Mā-am tets kao ta ge ǃnona tentomrode a kuru ǁkhā, ǀguisa sats ǃaroma, ǀguisa Moseb ǃaroma tsî nausa Eliab ǃaroma.”
5 Nēsab Petruba ra mî hîas ge kōheǁoasase ra ǂkhai ǃâusa ǁîgu ǂamai ge hā tsî gu ge dom-e ǁîsa xu ge ǁnâu, nēti ra mî-e: “Nēb ge ti ǀnamǀnamsa ǀGôab, ǃgâiǃgâibasensa ta ūǃnâ hâba. ǁÎba ǃgâ re!”
6 Tsî ǁkhāǁkhāsabegu* ge nē dom-e gu ge ǁnâu, o kaise ǃao tsî aidi âgu ǂama ǃhūb ai ge ǁnāǁgoe. 7 Ob ge Jesuba ǁîgu ǃoa hā, tsâǀkhā gu tsî ge mî: “Tā ǃao, î khâimâ!” 8 Tsî kōkhâi gu ge, o gu ge Jesub ǀguiba ǁîgu ǀkha hâse ge mû.
9 Tsî ǃhomma xu gu ǁgôaxaǃgoaxa hîab ge Jesuba ǁîga ge mîmā: “Tita, Khoen Ôata ǁōba xu khâimâ tamas kōse go ge khoe-i xare-e mû go gona mîba tide.”
10 O gu ge ǁkhāǁkhāsabega Jesuba “Tare-i ǃaroma gu Moseb ǂhanub* di ǁkhāǁkhā-aoga Eliab nî Xristub aiǃâ hā ti ra ǁkhāǁkhā?” ti ge dî.
11 Ob ge Jesuba ge ǃeream: “Ā, Eliab ge amabes ǃnâ aibe hā tsî hoa xūna nî aiǂhomi. 12 Amase ta ge ra mîba go ǀnaib ge Eliaba ǀkhī, xawen ǁîna mûǂan bi tama i tsî ǂgaon ra khami ǁîba ge ûi-ū ǃkhaisa. ǁNās ǁkhās khamib ge Khoen Ôaba ǁkhā ǀgaub ai ǁîgu ǃomǁae nî tsâ.” 13 ǁNā ǁaeb ai gu ge ǁkhāǁkhāsabega ge ǁnâuǃā Johaneb ǁĀǁnâ-aob xab ra ǁîgu ǀkha ǃhoasa.

14 Tsî ǃhomma xu gu ge ǂnubis khoen tawa ǀkhī, o i ge ao-e Jesub ǃoa hā tsî ǁîb aiǃâ ǃhon 15 tsî ge mî: “ǃKhūtse, ti ôaba ǀkhomxa re, ǁîb ge ǁnāǁōba ūhâ tsî ǁkhōǁkhōsase mâǁaeb hoab ai nēsa xu ra tsâ. Hoaǁaeb ge ǀaes tamas ka io ǁgam-i ǃnâ ra ǁnā. 16 Tsî ta ge sa ǁkhāǁkhāsabegu ǃoa go ǀkhī-ū bi, xawe gu ge go ǂuruǂuru bi ǁoa.”
17 Ob ge Jesuba ge ǃeream: “Sa ǂgomoǃnâ tsî ǃnâudanaxa khoedo, mâǁaeb kōse ta kha sadu ǀkha nî hâ, ǂgom du nîse? Mâtikōse ta kha sado nî tani? Axaba tita ǁga hā-ū re.” 18 Ob ge Jesuba axab ǃnâ hâ ǁgâuaba* ge ǃgabe tsîb ge ge ǂoaxū bi. ǁNā ǁaeba xub ge axaba ge ǂuru.
19 ǁNās khaoǃgâ gu ge ǁkhāǁkhāsabega Jesuba ǀguri ge dî: “Tare xū-i ǃaroma ge kha sige ǁnā ǁgâuaba go ǃhaeǂui ǁoa i?”
20 Ob ge Jesuba ge ǃeream: “ǂGoms âgo a ǂkhari xui-aos ge. Amase ta ra mîba go, mostardǃkhomro-i* khami ǂkhari ǂgomsa go ga ūhâ tsî nē ǃhommi ǃoa ‘Nēpa xu nauǀî gon’ ti mî ob nî gonbēsa. Elob ǃnâts ga ǂgom, ots ge xū-i hoa-e a dī ǁkhā.” [21 Xawe ǀgores tsî ǂûtama* hâs ǀguis ge nēsa ra īǁkhā kai; ǀnî xū-i ose.]

22 Galileab ǃnâ gu ge ǁkhāǁkhāsabega ǀhao, ob ge Jesuba ǁîgu ǃoa ge mî: “Khoen Ôab ge ǀapexūhe tsî khoen ǃomǁae nî māǁnâhe. 23 Tsîn ge ǁîna nî ǃgam bi, xawe ǃnonaǁî tsēs aib ge ǁōba xu nî ǂkhaiǂkhaihe.” ǁKhāǁkhāsabegu ge nēs xa ǃgamse ge ǃoa.

24 ǁNās khaoǃgâ gu ge Jesub tsî ǁîb ǁkhāǁkhāsabegu tsîga Kapernaums ǃnâ a sī, o gu ge Tempeli ǁgui-aimariǃkhōǃoa-aoga* Petrub ǃoa hā tsî ge dî bi: “Sa ǁkhāǁkhā-aoba kha Tempeli ǁgui-aimarisa māb ra?”
25 Ob ge Petruba ge ǃeream “Ā, mā ra ǁgui-aide” ti.
Petrub ge oms ǃnâ ǂgâ, ob ge Jesuba ǃhaedā bi tsî ge dî bi: “Simontse, mâtits satsa ra ǂâi? Tarina nē ǃhūbaib di gao-aoga ǁgui-aimarin tsî ǁgui-aidi tsîna ra māna? ǃHūǁîna tamas ka io ǃhaokhoena?”
26 Ob ge Petruba ge ǃeream “ǃHaokhoen” ti.
Ob ge Jesuba ge mî: “Ā, o i kom ra ǂâibaseno ǃhūǁîn a ǃnorasa ǃkhaisa xū-e māsa xu. 27 Xawe tā ge nēsa mâǃoa, hurirob ǃoa ǃgû, î ǁauǃkhō-ūdaba aoǂgā. ǂGuro ǁaub hîats ga ǃkhōb di amsats ga khowa, ots ge marisa nî hō, o ǁîs ǀkha hoakhom di ǁgui-aimarisa sī matare.”
1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. 4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. 6 And when the disciples heard it , they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. 7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. 8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. 9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. 10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
14 ¶ And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, 15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. 16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. 17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. 18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
22 ¶ And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: 23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
24 ¶ And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? 25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? 26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. 27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
