1 Mo ndji zembi orure nai nga ruṋe,
Muhona? Nga aruhe are?
Mo horeke omurungu woye
ku ami orure nai nga ruṋe?
2 Hi tjinde ouzeu momuinyo
wandje orure nai nga ruṋe?
Hi kare noruhoze momutima wandje
ouṱuku nomutenya nga ruṋe?
Ovanavita na ami mave ndji
havere nai nga ruṋe?
3 Tara ku ami, Muhona,
Ndjambi wandje, nu u ndji zuvire!
Ndji pa omasa omape kutja e ha koka,
4 kokutja omunavita na ami e he rihivi nai:
“Ami mbe mu havere”,
nokutja omundjitonde a ha nyandere onḓiro yandje.
5 Ami me riyameke korusuvero rwoye orukarerere,
nomutima wandje mau nyandere ombatero yoye.
6 Me imburire ove, Muhona,
orondu ove we ndji tjitira ouwa.

1 How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
