1 Momayaraarero wandje ami
mba kwa ku Muhona,
neye we ndji zuvira.
2 Muhona, ndji yama kovanavizeze
na kovanavineya.
3 Ndjambi nge mu tjite vi,
oweṋe vanavineya?
Eye nge mu vere komuhingo uṋe?
4 Eye me mu yaha noviku ovitwe
vyomurwe wovita,
ne mu vete nomakara omapyu.
5 Okutura mokati keṋu okokuvi tjimuna
okutura mOmesek
na mokati kovature va Kedar.
6 Ami mba tura orure tjinene puna
ovandu mba tonda ohange!
7 Ami mbi vanga ohange,
nungwari tji mba nyamukura,
owo tjandje mave vanga oviposa.
A Song of degrees.
1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
