Omeriyarikaṋeno wa Hosea kOvaisrael
1 Ritanaureye ku Muhona, Ndjambi weṋu, tjiwaṋa tja Israel. Ourunde weṋu we mu putarisa au mu wisa. 2 Ritanaureye ku Muhona, nu ongumbiro ndji ngai rire ombunguhiro yeṋu ku ye: “Tu isira ourunde wetu auhe nu u yakure ongumbiro yetu, neṱe matu ku tanga otja pu twa kwizika. 3 Asirie kamaatji tu yama, noukambe wovita kamaau tu vatere. Eṱe kamaatu tja nai koviserekarera, mbi twa ungura nomake wetu: ‘Oweṋe Ndjambi wetu!’ Muhona, ove u ṱotjari na imba mbe hi nomundu ku mave sora okuriyameka.”

4 Muhona ma tja nai: “Ami me kotora otjiwaṋa tjandje ku ami omuini. Me tji suvere nomutima wandje auhe, orondu hi tji nomazenge na tjo rukwao. 5 Ami me rire otja ombura mehi nda kukuta kotjiwaṋa tja Israel. Owo mave nyomoka otja ozongara zozonyanga; mave zikama nomasa tjimuna otupapa twa Libanon. 6 Owo mave nyomoka nave tandavara tjimuna omikono, nu mave rire ovawa ovamanise tjimuna omiṋinga. Owo mave kara nomoro omuwa tjimuna otupapa twa Libanon. 7 Owo mave hupu kehi yondjeverero yandje rukwao. Mave kunu ovikokotwa rukwao; nowo oveni mave nyomoka tjimuna omivite. Mave rire ovatjiukwa otja omavinu wa Libanon. 8 Ovaisrael kave nokukara ko na tja noomukuru vovisenginina. Owami erike ngu me yakura ozongumbiro zawo, nowami ngu meve tjevere; otja omuti mbu kara noruhapo aruhe, ami otjinga ame ve yama; nami owami omburo yozondaya zawo azehe.”

9 Avehe mbe ri ozonongo ngave zuve imbi mbya tjangwa mba, nowo ngave vi ṱakamise momitima vyawo. Orondu ozondjira za Muhona ozo ozosemba, novasemba ve hupa mokuzetwara, nungwari ovarunde ve putara ave u, tjinga ave nakaura ozondjira nḓa.
1 O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. 2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. 3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
4 ¶ I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. 5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. 6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. 7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
8 Ephraim shall say , What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him , and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. 9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things ? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
