1 Ongumbiro yomuprofete Habakuk oyo ndji:
2 Muhona, ami mba zuva imbi mbi wa tjita,
nami mba uruma.
Nambano momayuva wetu wina tjita
ozondjito ozonene nḓoo tjiti aruhe rukuru.
Kara notjari nandarire kutja wa pindike.
3 Ndjambi meya, ma zu kOteman;
Omuyapuke meya, ma zu kozondundu za Paran.
Ongeṋangeṋeno ye omanise i vandeka omayuru;
nehi re ura nondangu ye.
4 Eye u ya momakeṋakeṋeno wozohanya zeyuva;
ondjerera i za momake we,
mu wo omu mwa horekwa ouvara we.
5 Eye u hinda omutjise omuzeu komurungu we,
nu u rakiza onḓiro kutja i mu kongorere.
6 Eye tja kurama, ehi ri nyinganyinga;
eye tja tara, oviwaṋa vi zezera.
Ozondundu zaaruhe ze hahauka;
ovivanda vyaaruhe vi musukira,
imbi ovivanda eye karyangere motuveze otukuru.
7 Ami mba muna ovature va Kusan amave tira,
na imba va Midian amave zezera.
8 Ozonḓonḓu onḓe ku pindikisa, Muhona, are?
Okuvare oku kwe ku ṱisa omazenge are?
Ove wa kavira kovikamba;
otjikamba tjotjivepo tja ri etemba roye rovita,
indu tji wa eta outoṋi kotjiwaṋa tjoye.
9 Ove we rirongerera okuungurisa outa woye
na wina okuyaha oviku vyoye.

ombura onḓeu ya roka okuza mevaverwa.
Omeva wokuvare ya hwaara,
nozongazona zawo za sekama kombanda.
11 Eyuva nomueze vya hirimana
momayuru komawerawerero
woviku vyoye mbi mavi kapita,
na komakeṋakeṋeno womatjeneno
wenga roye.
12 Ove wa tuurunga ehi momazenge;
nu momapindi ove wa tomba omihoko.
13 Ove wa pita okukayama otjiwaṋa tjoye,
okukayama ombara yoye ondoororwa.
Ove wa yandeka omunane wovarunde,
nu wa nyona ovemukongorere okumana.
14 Oviku vyoye vya tuvakaṋa
omuhongore wotjimbumba tje tjovita,
otjo tji tje ya otja otjivepo okutupiza
ama tji yoroka otja imba mbe ṋiṋikiza
ovasyona momaundiro wawo.
15 Ove wa tomba okuvare noukambe woye,
nomeva omanamasa tjinene
arire tji ya hara esuzu.
16 Ami me zuu oviṋa avihe mbi, nu me zezera;
omiṋa vyandje mavi zezerisiwa i ondiriro.
Orutu rwandje maru remana,
nozombaze zandje maze putara.
Ami me hirimana ame undju eyuva okuya
Ndjambi mu ma vere
imba mbu mave tu rwisa.
17 Nangarire kutja omikuyu kavi nomakuyu,
nokutja omivite kavi nokueta omandjembere,
nangarire kutja omanikorero
wozoṋinga kaye nokukara po,
nokutja omahi womakunino kaye
nokuhapisa ovikokotwa,
nangarire kutja ozonḓu azehe maze koka,
nokutja ovyunda vyozongombe vi ri tjo,
18 ami ingee me yoroka nu me nyanda,
orondu Muhona Ndjambi
omuyame wandje.
19 Muhona Ndjambi omasa wandje.
Eye ma hakahanisa ozombaze zandje
tjimuna inḓa ozongoṱu,
nu me ndji ryangisa
mozondundu nokuhinatjipo.

Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers. 10 The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high. 11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear. 12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger. 13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah. 14 Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly. 15 Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.
17 ¶ Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet , and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.
