The Two Witnesses
1 I was then given a stick that looked like a measuring-rod, and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count those who are worshiping in the temple. 2 But do not measure the outer courts, because they have been given to the heathen, who will trample on the Holy City for forty-two months. 3 I will send my two witnesses dressed in sackcloth, and they will proclaim God's message during those 1, 260 days.”
4 The two witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lamps that stand before the Lord of the earth. 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and destroys their enemies; and in this way whoever tries to harm them will be killed. 6 They have authority to shut up the sky so that there will be no rain during the time they proclaim God's message. They have authority also over the springs of water, to turn them into blood; they have authority also to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.
7 When they finish proclaiming their message, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will fight against them. He will defeat them and kill them, 8 and their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, where their Lord was crucified. The symbolic name of that city is Sodom, or Egypt. 9 People from all nations, tribes, languages, and races will look at their bodies for three and a half days and will not allow them to be buried. 10 The people of the earth will be happy because of the death of these two. They will celebrate and send presents to each other, because those two prophets brought much suffering upon the whole human race. 11 After three and a half days a life-giving breath came from God and entered them, and they stood up; and all who saw them were terrified. 12 Then the two prophets heard a loud voice say to them from heaven, “Come up here!” As their enemies watched, they went up into heaven in a cloud. 13 At that very moment there was a violent earthquake; a tenth of the city was destroyed, and seven thousand people were killed. The rest of the people were terrified and praised the greatness of the God of heaven.
14 The second horror is over, but the third horror will come soon!
The Seventh Trumpet
15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The power to rule over the world belongs now to our Lord and his Messiah, and he will rule forever and ever!” 16 Then the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones in front of God threw themselves face downward and worshiped God, 17 saying:
“Lord God Almighty, the one who is and who was!
We thank you that you have taken your great power
and have begun to rule!
18 The heathen were filled with rage,
because the time for your anger has come,
the time for the dead to be judged.
The time has come to reward your servants, the prophets,
and all your people, all who have reverence for you,
great and small alike.
The time has come to destroy those who destroy the earth!”
19 God's temple in heaven was opened, and the Covenant Box was seen there. Then there were flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.
Ovahongonone vevari
1 Ami mba perwe oruu ndwa sanene nokati okasaneke ne raerwa nai: “Sekama u kasaneke ondjuwo ya Ndjambi notjipunguhiro nu u kavare ovandu mba mbe rikotamenena mu yo. 2 Nungwari o saneke ko indwi orupanda rwopendje rwondjuwo ya Ndjambi, orwo tjinga arwa yandjwa ku imba mbe ha tjiwa Ndjambi, mbu mave tombo otjihuro otjiyapuke oure womieze omirongo vine na vivari. 3 Nami me yandja ouvara kovahongonone vandje vevari, nowo mave zuvarisa ombuze ya Ndjambi oure womayuva eyovi nomasere yevari nomirongo hamboumwe ave nozombanda zomakutu.”
4 Ovahongonone vevari mba owo imbi omiti vivari vyomiṋinga, nu wina owo inga omamunine yevari, nga kurama komurungu wa Muhona wehi. 5 Nu tji pe nomundu ngu ma vanga okuvetjita otjipo, mamu zu omuriro movinyo vyawo nau seseta ovanavita na wo. Komuhingo mbwi auhe ngu ma vanga okuvetjita otjipo ma sokuṱa. 6 Owo ve nouvara okupata evaverwa, kokutja oruveze aruhe, owo ngunda amave zuvarisa ombuze ya Ndjambi, aku ha roko ombura. Owo wina ve nouvara okutjitukisa omeva aehe wotuharwi kutja ye rire ombinḓu; nu wina ve nouvara okutona ehi noviwonga ngamwa avihe, aruhe otja punga amave vanga.
7 Nowo tji va mana okuyandja omahongononeno wawo, ihi otjipuka tji matji piti morutjiva rwokehi yehi matji hanga ovita kuna wo. Notji matji ve toṋa natji ve zepa. 8 Oturova twawo matu saravara momuvanda wotjihuro hi otjinene mu mwa papererwe oMuhona wawo kotjikoroise wina. Notjisanekero tjena rotjihuro ho oSodom poo Engipte. 9 Nu imba ovandu oviwaṋa nomihoko avihe nomaraka aehe novanavisenginina avehe mave ya okutara oturova twawo oure womayuva yetatu nohinga, notwo katu nakuyandjerwa okupakwa. 10 Novature wokombanda yehi mave nyandere onḓiro yovahongonone vevari mba. Owo mave yoroka nave hindirasana oviyandjewa, orondu ovaprofete vevari mba aave hihamisa ovature wokombanda yehi tjinene. 11 Nu kombunda yomayuva nga yetatu nohinga ombepo yomuinyo ndja zira mu Ndjambi ya hitire mu wo, nowo arire tji va kurama oseka; nu avehe mbe ve munine va urumine tjinene. 12 Novaprofete vevari mba arire tji va zuu eraka enene ndi mari tja ku wo okuza meyuru: “Rondeye nguno!” Nowo va ronda keyuru motjikamba, ovanavita na wo ngunda amave tarere. 13 Nu moiri tjingeyo ndjo pa tjitwa omanyinganyingiro wehi omanene, norukondwa orutjamurongo rwotjihuro rwa wira, nu ape ṱu ovandu omayovi hambombari. Nu imba mba serwe ko va urumine tjinene nave hivirike ounene wa Ndjambi weyuru.
14 Nu “Owee” indji oitjavari ya kapita. Nu tara, indji oitjatatu mai ya tjimanga!
Ohiva oitjahambombari
15 Nu omuengeri outjahambombari arire tja posisa ohiva ye. Nu pa zuvaka omaraka omanene meyuru nga ravaerere aye tja: “Ouvara wokuhonaparera ouye nambano owa Muhona wetu nOmutwirisiwa we, neye ma honapara otja ombara aruhe nga ko nga aruhe.” 16 Tjazumba ovanene mba omirongo vivari na vane mbe ri pehi kovihavero vyawo vyouhona momurungu wa Ndjambi, arire tji va u onḓurumika nave rikotamene ku Ndjambi, 17 ave tja:
“Muhona Ndjambi, Omunamasaaehe, ngu u ri po nu ngu wa ri po!
Ma tutja okuhepa kutja, ove wa ungurisa omasa woye omanene
no honapara otja ombara!
18 Imba mbe he ri Ovajuda va pindikire tjinene,
mena rokutja oruveze rwomazenge woye tjinga arwe ya,
indwi oruveze ovakoke tji mave pangurwa.
Oruveze rweya rwokuyandja ondjambi
kovakarere voye, imba ovaprofete,
na kotjiwaṋa tjoye atjihe,
imba avehe mbe nondira kove,
ovanene novaṱiṱi.
Oruveze rweya rwokuyandeka imba mbe nyona ehi!”
19 Nondjuwo ya Ndjambi meyuru otji ya patururwa, nOtjipwikiro tjOmerikutiropamwe arire tji tja munika mu yo. Nu pa kara otutjeno twombura nomungunda notuṱuṱumo nomanyinganyingiro wehi nozombawe ozonḓeu zombura.
