Bildad's Second Speech
How Long Will You Talk?
1 Bildad from Shuah said:
2 How long will you talk?
Be sensible! Let us speak.
3 Or do you think that we
are dumb animals?
4 You cut yourself in anger.
Will that shake the earth
or even move the rocks?
* 5 The lamps of sinful people
soon are snuffed out,
6 leaving their tents dark.
7 Their powerful legs become weak,
and they stumble on schemes
of their own doing.
* 8 Before they know it,
9 they are trapped in a net,
10 hidden along the path.
11 Terror strikes and pursues
from every side.
12 Starving, they run,
only to meet disaster,
13 then afterwards to be eaten alive
by death itself.
14 Those sinners are dragged
from the safety of their tents
to die a gruesome death.
15 Then their tents and possessions
are burned to ashes,
16 and they are left like trees,
dried up from the roots.
17 They are gone and forgotten,
18 thrown far from the light
into a world of darkness,
19 without any children
to carry on their name.
20 Everyone, from east to west,
is overwhelmed with horror.
21 Such is the fate of sinners
and their families
who don't know God.
Bildad ta popi vali
1 Opo nee Bildad, Omusuhi, a nyamukula ndele ta ti: 2 “Fiyo onaini mwa hala okulukila eendjovo eemwiyo? Ningeni eendunge, opo nee tu popye po. 3 Omolwashike hatu faafanifwa noimuna, fye katu neendunge momesho eni? 4 Ove to linyanyaula mehandu loye, omolwoye tuu edu li efiwe ngeno li kale ongaho, nemanya li dikuke monhele yalo?
5 “Heeno, ouyelele womuhenakalunga tau dimi, nelaka lomundilo waye itali yela. 6 Ouyelele otau laula meumbo laye nolamba yaye tai dimi kombada yomutwe waye. 7 Eenghatu dokweenda kwaye di neenghono tadi ka ninga dinini, nepukululo laye mwene tali mu wilifa poshi. 8 Osheshi eemhadi daye mwene tadi mu twala meendjadja ndele ta ende kombada yekelo. 9 Eendjadja dokukwata tadi kwata oshififinwa shaye, nelulo tali mu dame. 10 Omwiyo we mu holekelwa medu, nongodi yoku mu pundukifa i li mondjila. 11 Keembinga adishe ye ota tilifwa komahalukifo, ndele tave mu taataa fiyofiyo. 12 Ondjala otai ningi mukwao, kombinga ei oshiponga tashi mu teelele. 13 Oshiveli shefyo tashi kunya oinhimbu yomolutu laye, oinhimbu yaye tai lika kusho. 14 Ye ota nakulwa mo metwali laye, meameno laye e li lineekela. Ye e nokukatuka nokuholoka koshipala shohamba yomahalukifo. 15 Metwali laye mwa kala sha, sho shihe fi shaye, ponhele yeumbo laye tapa undwilwa osulfuri. 16 Omidi daye tadi kukuta medu, noshitai shaye tashi lembe kombada. 17 Edimbulukifo laye tali kana kombada yedu, ndele ehe nedina tali tumbulwa momapandavanda. 18 Ota undulwa mouyelele, a ye momulaulu, ndele ta ka tewa mo mounyuni. 19 Moshiwana shaye ehe nepata ile noludalo nande umwe womeumbo laye ta ka kala po. 20 Oonakukalamo vomouninginino tava ka haluka omolwefiku laye, nekakamo tali ka kwata ovanhu vomoushilo. 21 Oshili, osho omaumbo ovalongi vowii taa ka ningwa, nosho nonhele yaau, ina shiiva Kalunga.”
