Bildad's Second Speech
How Long Will You Talk?
1 Bildad from Shuah said:
2 How long will you talk?
Be sensible! Let us speak.
3 Or do you think that we
are dumb animals?
4 You cut yourself in anger.
Will that shake the earth
or even move the rocks?
* 5 The lamps of sinful people
soon are snuffed out,
6 leaving their tents dark.
7 Their powerful legs become weak,
and they stumble on schemes
of their own doing.
* 8 Before they know it,
9 they are trapped in a net,
10 hidden along the path.
11 Terror strikes and pursues
from every side.
12 Starving, they run,
only to meet disaster,
13 then afterwards to be eaten alive
by death itself.
14 Those sinners are dragged
from the safety of their tents
to die a gruesome death.
15 Then their tents and possessions
are burned to ashes,
16 and they are left like trees,
dried up from the roots.
17 They are gone and forgotten,
18 thrown far from the light
into a world of darkness,
19 without any children
to carry on their name.
20 Everyone, from east to west,
is overwhelmed with horror.
21 Such is the fate of sinners
and their families
who don't know God.

1 Bildad Omushuak okwa yamukula ngeyi:
2 Job, uunake to hulitha okupopya?
Ninga omunandunge, nena otatu wapa okupopya.
3 Omolwashike to tu tala twa fa iimuna,
notwa ningi aagoya momeho goye?
4 Mondjahi oto inyanyagula mwene.
Evi otali ka mbugalekwa molwondjahi yoye,
nenge oondundu otadhi lundululwa po pomahala gadho?
5 Eeno, uuyelele womukeenakalunga otau dhimi po,
noonte dhe itadhi yele we.
6 Olamba yometsali lye otayi dhimi,
onyeka ye mu minikila otayi dhimwa po.
7 Oonkatu dhe nando odha li dha kola, otadhi ka pegeya;
uunongo we mwene otau mu thigi po.
8 Oompadhi dhe otadhi yi momwigo e ta yulwa.
9 Omwigo otagu mu kwata koshithi,
netavu otali mu yulu lye mu nkenena.
10 Elulo olye mu tegelwa mevi,
nekelo olye mu fulilwa mepola.
11 Ehalutho otali tilitha akuhe,
notali mu landula shaa mpoka ta yi.
12 Omupya ogwe mu ekamena okana,
noshiponga oshi li popepi naye.
13 Omukithi omudhigu otagu li ko iilyo ye kolutu
notagu tokola ko omagulu nomaako.
14 Ota kuthwa metsali lye e li inekela
nota falwa komukwaniilwa gwomatilitho.
15 Omulilo itagu thigi mo sha metsali lye,
osulufuli otayi fike po onganda ye.
16 Omidhi dhe otadhi sile mevi,
niitayi ye otayi kukutile kombanda.
17 Ita dhimbulukiwa we kombanda yevi,
nesimano lye otali hulu po.
18 Ota tidhwa muuyelele, a ye momilema,
nota kondwa mo mokati kaantu.
19 Ke na oshitutuma nenge oluvalo mokati koyaandjawo,
megumbo lye itamu hupu nando omuntu e na omwenyo.
20 Omupya gwe ogwa kumitha aayuninginino,
naauzilo oya tila taa kakama.
21 Eeno, shika osho tashi adha aakaanakalunga,
ndjika oyo onkalo yaamboka kaaye shi Kalunga.
